Facebook Bankers Secretly Cut Facebook’s Revenue Estimates in the Middle of IPO Roadshow

I think it would be quite an understatement to say that this is some bull. All that I picture while reading this is Zuckerberg sitting in his “modest” home on his “modest” 24k gold throne, smiling his shit-eating smile, knowing full-well that once again, he’s gotten away with being an arrogant, money-grubbing, asshole. Of the banks, I believe one person said it best when they stated “they are considered too big to fail, so we could never close them down”. Morgan Stanley, JP Morgan, and Goldman Sachs should be more than ashamed of themselves. They are criminals, and the only difference between them and Zuckerberg is that the banks aren’t even clever criminals because everyone knows they’re full of shit. They just have money and the government to back them while playing dumb. Zuckerberg can at least be given credit for being clever because he’s gotten this far and is still getting people to back him. He tries to humanize himself by making pledges like personally killing any animal he eats or taking the year to learn Mandarin or wear ties to work instead of his lazy, college-kid hoodies. The trouble is; he’s not human. He’s well-oiled and perfectly callibrated, and knows exactly what strings to pull. Zuckerberg has already repeatedly proven he cannot be trusted (seriously- The Hacker Company?), so to anybody who is not a bank or a millionaire (or a billionaire-and even then); why would you want to invest your hard-earned money into an IPO that clearly has the great potential to be a giant scam? Was the fact that it fell on opening day and is still dropping not enough of a sign? How about the fact that it was insanely overhyped? Being zuckered into it would be folly.

Leap Motion Hands-Free Control (For Computers!) → leapmotion.com

With the innovation of Microsoft’s “Kinect”, the realm of possibilities seems endless. Though the Kinect system was ground breaking, the controls were somewhat primitive.  Before it’s release, it was stated that finger recognition was one of many features provided by the system, but that seemed too big of a task for Microsoft.  Well, it seems a start-up company called “Leap Motion” has unlocked the ability of hands-free control with individual finger recognition. The system will be released early next year and is projected to run about 70 bones.

With this inovation we are moving closer and closer to a reality much like the movie “The Minority Report.”  Yes we have already started watching tv and playing video games with hands free systems, but soon there will be no use for typing.  Not sure if that’s a good thing?

A Zen master said to a monk, “You must see the universe in your cup.”  The monk looked into his cup, but didn’t see the universe, so he threw the cup away.  The Zen master said, “Oh, poor cup.  We think the cup is too small to hold the universe.  Intellectually, we can’t see how it could fit.  But wherever we go, the whole universe always appears—in a cup, a window, in a smile, in a word.”

I began this morning in solitude. I looked around my room, full of packed boxes, I sighed and grinned. Throughout the morning I have been contemplating the beauty around us. May it be the bird that set outside my window in the morning, the dust covered photographs of your past, tears after singing a joyful song with beloved friends. We are blessed.

“I went to get a loan and they asked my race. I wrote down human inside the space. It’s a disgrace how they try to debase, it ain’t the bank’s damn business how my lineage trace.” - MCA

MCA, a music man, a human, a visionary. RIP → cdn.front.moveon.org

FIRST AND FOREMOST, PLEASE CHECK THE LINK. ^^^

MCA was a great human being, he lived a life of greatness. He transcended racial boundaries in an opposite way; him and the Beastie Boys jumped into a heavily black run industry as a group of white punk kids from NY. Aside from this, MCA (Adam Yauch) was a practicing Buddhist. He felt that there was more to this world than hatred. Yauch was a lover of humanity. Im not Buddhist, but I dont think that the idea of love over all is wrong. I feel it is important to transcend into our everyday lives, including politics. Understanding that I am supposed to be the music correspondent on this blog, I feel that this is appropriate for todays post. MCA, we lost you Friday, I’m deeply saddened. But, Ch-ch-ch ch-ch-check it out, I hope people as a whole can learn a lot from an inspirational life such as yours. A man who stared cancer in the face like so many others in this world; a man who took on the battle with an open heart.

Pepsi: A Bit Morbid → finance.yahoo.com

Seeing the huge success of zombies lately, Pepsi has decided to revamp their image and use the deceased King of Pop, Michael Jackson, for a new global marketing push.  The King of Pop’s image and music will be used in television ads and branded on Pepsi cans.  As an added bonus, some products will have limited edition remixes of Mj’s famous songs on them.  This marketing “blitz” by Pepsi is in response to Coca-Cola’s “zombie-like” take over of the current market.  I don’t know about you, but the last thing I want to be thinking about when enjoying a fresh Pepsi Max, (S#!T’s nasty), is a walking dead Mj chasing little boys.
